Who is Number One brought us another great card, featuring Nicky Rod, Micael Galvao and Tainan Dalpra. We bring you a recap of the event.
RODRIGUEZ vs. HUGO
In a close match, Hugo and Rodriguez both had their moments. Hugo dominated a lot with his guard play, including an armbar attempt. Nicky Rod then got side control and it looked like the match might go his way, but in the end Hugo convinced the judges of his win with his submission attempts and a late backmount.
Hugo won via referee's decision
GALVAO vs. IWAMOTO
Mica once again showed his ability to chain attacks beautifully and put on a magnificent performance. He finally finished Iwamoto on a rear naked choke after 11 minutes and 7 seconds.
Galvao won via rear naked choke.
TAZA vs. DALPRA
Dalpra successfully gained control of Oliver via two single leg takedowns. On the ground, Dalpra then controlled Taza through Chest to Chest Pressure mainly from Side Control and Half Guard.
It was a dominant win for the IBJJF Gi World Champion, who faced ADCC veteran Taza for the first time in No-Gi.
